Lens & Light sparked the level up.

There’s nothing like stepping away, learning from brilliant minds, and remembering that growth is a lifelong commitment. I came home with my creative spark fully reignited. I also learned I need to acquire a few new pieces of gear I cannot wait to weave into this wedding season.

Between fresh tools and a refueled vision… world, watch out.

It was such a pleasure meeting Kelly from the team and creating with Tina of , an incredibly talented photographer, even if our impromptu 10-minute session was quick magic. And Allyssa of ? An absolute baddie and a fantastic model who brought the energy to every frame.

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Being asked to photograph portraits for THEE Beth Chapman, the incredible force behind , was truly an honor. When I think of Beth, I think of a wedding fairy godmother. From head to toe, you will be styled perfectly, and she will swoop in with her magical fairy dust to make sure everything is flawless, with the sweetest words and guidance. I’ve admired Beth for years. Her hustle, her vision, her presence, her ability to build not just one, but multiple thriving businesses, and the way she educates and uplifts the wedding industry as a whole. And beyond all of that… she is genuinely kind, grounded, and such a joy to be around.

I’m deeply humbled to have been trusted to document for her brand, and to collaborate creatively with someone whose work & energy I’ve long respected.

The gowns featured in this post are by , a truly talented local designer based in Greenwich, CT. It was an absolute honor to photograph her designs and to be entrusted with capturing the craftsmanship, movement, and intention behind each piece. Let’s just say with every piece that walked out in, everyone exclaimed “that’s the one”. They are truly breathtaking! The high neck gown gave me visible goosebumps.

Creating during the winter months always lights me up in a different way. It’s quieter, more intentional, more reflective. Moments like this remind me how grateful I am to do what I love, with my whole heart, and to be trusted to tell these stories with care. I’m honestly flabbergasted to be asked & I jump up and down behind closed doors!
