“If I share my talent and experience, someone out there, better than me & will call me out for it!”🤦🏻♀️
But, if you BELIEVE in what you’re selling, your honesty and authenticity WILL shine through and your tribe will connect and begin to trust you. 🤓
Remarkably talented people:
▫️THE profound Maya Angelou
▫️THE brilliant marketing genius
▫️Tina freaking Fey
▫️Emma Cutie Pie Watson
▫️Tom Hanks, the charm & class of Hollywood
▫️the list goes on...
Marketers yell, “be authentically yourself but make sure you’re selling it & making it look good.” 🤷🏻♀️
1. Providing value should be your goal. You’ll gain momentum quickly when you get feedback from clients saying “that was so helpful! I never knew that or thought of it that way!” And more importantly, ignore the haters. Not everyone will love you and that is ok bc your tribe will be cheering you on!
2. Reviews! Ask for them, be direct & specific in what you are looking for when asking for them and most importantly... keep them visible and visit them frequently to remind yourself, “Hey, I might actually know what I’m doing.”
3. People don’t know as much as you think they do about your specialty. THIS! Remember, you do your job and specialize in “your lane” DAILY. They may have surface understanding BUT YOU, my friend, know the path and tools to greatness. Accept it, breath it in, say it out loud to yourself every morning...
4. Quit comparing yourself to others, right now! 🛑 Stop it! There will always be those with more experience and ability BUT your voice and level of success is still helpful to others that may identify with you better. And, it’s always good to have goals to grow your knowledge.
Let me know your thoughts & if you have any additional tips! I’ve got plenty more up my sleeve but bottom line:
Be humble & honest where you’re at but share your wisdom with others. Just because it is easy for you does NOT mean it is easy for others.
