Lately, life has been asking me to face a lot of change. And if I’m being honest, I don’t always know what’s around the corner.

I’m trying to trust the universe, trust the direction I’m being pulled in, and trust that not knowing what comes next doesn’t mean something bad is waiting for me.

It’s hard. Change is hard. The unknown is scary.

But I refuse to take myself out of the game because I’m afraid of what could happen or what the future may hold. 🫶

So I’m going to keep showing up. Keep creating. Keep pouring my heart into these babies, families, milestones, and mamas. Keep following what feels right, even when the path ahead isn’t completely clear.

Because who knows what’s around the corner? And I don’t want fear to be the reason I never find out. ✨

I never take it for granted that you choose me to document these moments for your family.

From baby cheeks to sparkly dresses and birthday-girl magic… I can’t believe she’s 8. 🥹🎀

I’ve known this sweet girl since she was just 6 weeks old and have been photographing her since she was 5. Getting to watch her grow up through my lens has been one of those little gifts that makes this job so special.

While my page is often filled with babies, bumps, and motherhood stories, every now and then a different kind of love deserves a place here, too. 🤍

While photographing Beats on the Lake, I snuck in a few photos of the future Mr. & Mrs. Because this blooming love is just too beautiful not to share. And because Carmen and Mat aren’t just beautiful subjects, they’re also dear friends of mine. 🥹

Carmen is Mat’s personal hype woman, and I truly adore the love these two have for each other and even more, the way they pour that love into everyone around them.

They are the definition of a true power couple: supportive, passionate, genuine, and always cheering each other on. It’s such a beautiful thing to witness.

Carmen & Mat, I’m wishing you both nothing but love, happiness, and the absolute best as you step into this next chapter together. Here’s to forever. 🥂🫶

This pretty little baby is already a month old and did absolutely perfectly. 🤍✨

I often get asked, “When is the best time for newborn photos?”

While I typically recommend 2–10 days old for those extra-sleepy poses and tiny newborn details, I’ve photographed babies as old as 16 weeks, and they’ve done beautifully!

So if you feel like you missed the “newborn window,” you haven’t. It’s never too late to capture these precious moments. And if baby has moved beyond the newborn stage, we can easily turn it into a milestone session and celebrate all the ways they’re growing. 🫶

There is something so incredibly beautiful about a mother who is completely present in the moment, the kind of joy you can’t pose, direct, or manufacture.

Just look at her.

The laughter.
The glow.
The anticipation.
The undeniable happiness radiating from her.

This is the beauty I want to preserve for my mothers. Not just how beautiful they looked while carrying their baby, but how it felt to be her in this moment.

The woman before the birth.
The excitement before the first hello.
The quiet anticipation of meeting the little person who has already changed her heart in ways she can't quite put into words.

Because one day, this season will be a memory.

And when she looks back at these photographs years from now, I want her to remember more than her bump.

I want her to remember the joy. The anticipation. The love. The woman she was becoming.

Editing galleries in the school pickup line. Answering emails whenever I can. Balancing motherhood, running Evelyn Ann Photography, and stepping into my new role at The Little Sober Bar (plus all the creative, marketing, and behind-the-scenes work that comes with it). Some days it feels like I'm wearing 20 different hats.

To my fellow mom entrepreneurs: I see you. You're building something you're proud of while also showing up for your family, and that isn't easy.

And to my amazing clients: thank you for your patience, your support, and for trusting a mom who's pouring her whole heart into both her family and her businesses. Every gallery is edited with so much care, even if it happens from the driver's seat in the school pickup line. 🫶
