I decided yesterday was the day to pay this location a visit. It's less than a mile from my house, so I grabbed my gear and walked on foot from my house to visit the nest. By now you already know what they are. And yes... I stopped at an appropriate distance from the tree, as not to disturb the young eagles. Life is Good!
