Capturing the journey of motherhood is such a special privilege❤️
It will never feel ordinary to me to be invited into such a meaningful season of someone’s life and trusted to document the milestones that come with it. From the quiet anticipation to the joy of what’s ahead, these are the moments that deserve to be remembered.
It feels like an even bigger honor when those clients are also friends. There is something so special about getting to celebrate and document people you care about in such an important chapter of their story.
I truly feel so lucky that I get to call this my job.
So here is a little sneak peek from my sweet friend’s maternity session on the dreamiest golden sunset evening. One of those sessions where the light shows up perfectly and everything just feels a little bit magical.

2026 is already bringing me the sweetest sessions and it is making my heart so happy. I was truly honored to photograph the beautiful Redman family and their three adorable children.
Sessions like this are exactly why I love what I do. I don’t walk in expecting perfection. I walk in expecting real life. Little personalities, big energy, quiet snuggles, chaos that turns into connection. My approach is always gentle and guided but never forced. I give direction when it’s needed, step back when the magic is happening, and focus on the in between moments that feel the most like them.
With three little ones, you never know what the flow will look like, and that is part of the beauty. We moved, we laughed, we embraced the wiggles, and somewhere in all of that we created a gallery that feels natural, joyful, and true to this season of their lives.
It is always my goal that when families look back at their photos, they don’t just see how they looked. They remember how it felt.

I can’t think of a better way to ease back into work after a holiday break than this😍
Quiet snuggles, the sweetest family, thoughtful little details, and so much love filling every corner of their home.
These sessions never stop reminding me how grateful I am for this work❤️
My only complaint is that picking images for this sneak peek was basically impossible, so here are just a few of my favorites from the sweet Ruelas family newborn session🙃

Getting to photograph another photographer’s family is always such an honor!
is a wildlife photographer!! So while I’m out here chasing toddlers through fields, she’s out photographing lions, tigers, and elephants in Africa (or more like hiding and trying not to get eaten🙃😬).

This might be my most impossible task of the season: narrowing down favorites.
Even from a petite session, I somehow end up with 100+ images I can’t stop smiling at. I stare at my screen for hours, eliminate, revise, second-guess….and still love them all🥹

But can you blame me?Especially when it’s one of my daughter’s besties in front of my camera😭😭😭

Even in just twenty minutes, there was so much love packed into this session.
Tight hugs, big laughs, and those little in-between moments that always end up being my favorites.

That’s what I love most about photographing families. It’s never about perfect smiles or poses; it’s about freezing the feeling of right now. The love, the chaos, the calm… all of it.

So grateful I get to do this, to capture memories that will take families back to this season every time they look at their photos.

There’s something so special about documenting the same families through every chapter of their motherhood journey🥰

Just a few months ago, I photographed Shelby and Kevin’s maternity session. That magical, fleeting window of excitement right before meeting their baby.

And now… baby Ellis is here. 🥹 Photographing him in his sweet nursery felt like coming full circle. What an honor to document this next chapter for such a beautiful family.
