There aren’t enough slides to showcase this gorgeous year. It has been BRUTAL, exhausting, and stressful.
I have always struggled with balance and the actual ‘business’ side of my business. The imposter syndrome is always looming over my head and it can be debilitating.

This year has changed me and my business so much. I’ve been learning to say “no” (which is still a work in progress!), I’ve created the most incredible connections with the COOLEST clients. I’ve worked through tsunami scares, kidney infections, childcare limitations, autoimmune/mental health issues, and so much more.

I could look back on this year and easily rip my achievements to shreds, but the ability to pivot, grow and learn is too big of a win for me.

With all this to say—there is absolutely no way that I could have made it through this year without my people. Thank you SO MUCH to my friends/clients for trusting me, helping me, and all of the silliness that surrounded our time together! This year could have easily been so dark and daunting, but you made it everything for me and I am truly grateful.

This video wasn’t made for my professional page, but it’s busy season and the exhaustion has set in.

-Editing through the night so I can give my son more playtime.
-Losing my editing rhythm to pick up my kid because he needed some attention.
-Coordinating play dates and adding an extra hour of travel time while I work so he reaches his social interaction quota.
-Dealing with the constant guilt of prioritizing my own health instead of having another baby.
-Taking weekly meds that make me feel like I was hit by a truck so I can survive.
-Constantly anticipating my meds getting taken away by my insurance and losing everything as a repercussion.

I am beyond floored with how incredible my life is. Wearing so many hats is such a privilege, but can be incredibly exhausting.

I love making people feel beautiful and confident. I love riding the waves with my clients and catching them at the major milestone moments. I get to set my hours, play in the sand, go on beautiful roadtrips, have the “woo” girl moments with the most incredible women, and live in constant celebration.

I also feel like I’m living my life in constant chaos. I’m trying to play the type A, small business owner as someone with extreme neurodivergencies. I work around an autoimmune disease that is an every day battle. My meds make me sick and moody which makes me feel like I’m always behind.

I am documenting these major milestone moments while trying to show up for my own. I am struggling with the guilt of choosing my health over having another baby, but I am also struggling to build my career with the most active toddler known to man. The daily coordination of schedules alone makes life feel impossible— but that kid is absolutely worth all of it.

If you have made it this far, I would just like to say, thank you. To my clients: thank you for your incredible patience and understanding. The world we live in can feel so scary and can easily wear you down. I’m so grateful for this community that I am a part of and wouldn’t still be here without them.

Can you believe a circus showed up for us??

Something about doing an engagement session for the person who has been wedding/event planning with me our entire childhood is wild. We have seen each other at our absolute best selves and our worst, which makes this phase of her life even more amazing.

I’m so grateful to have as my cousin/sister and now we get an , who is absolutely amazing.

Obsessed with this shoot and even more obsessed with the brand! I met Parker and Rachel at the PDX night market a few years back and have used their products for multiple shoots since!
The fact that they trusted me with the opportunity to work with them is absolutely insane. They are the coolest/sweetest/most PATIENT humans and I am so grateful to know them!
