Welcome to the world, sweet Asher 🤍

There’s something SO special about getting to photograph the same family year after year. I’ve been with this crew through family sessions, maternity, and baby milestones, and now I got to meet their newest little love just hours after he arrived. I’ll never get over how fast that happened, and I’m honored to keep telling this family’s story.

Those tiny fingers, the sleepy yawns, the way his big soster looked at him... my heart is so full. Thank you for letting me be part of these moments again and again. You’re truly one of my favorite families ever!

Senior year is such a funny season. They’re still your kid, but you’re also starting to see the adult they’re becoming. ❤️
That’s why I love senior sessions. It’s not just about having a few pretty pictures for the yearbook. It’s about capturing them — their personality, their confidence, and this little in-between chapter that goes by way too fast.

Things I’ll never tell a senior to do during their session:
❌ “Just smile.”
❌ “Stand there and look natural.”
❌ “Okay…do something.”
😂
Instead, I’ll give you prompts, movement, things to interact with, and plenty of opportunities to just be yourself.
Because the goal isn’t to make you look like a model.
It’s to make your photos look like YOU.
And honestly? The best images usually happen somewhere between the poses anyway. 🤍

Well… it’s been a minute. 🤍

I haven’t shared much of my photography work lately, but I couldn’t let these stay on my hard drive.

I got to photograph my own girl for her senior pictures, and I’m not sure how we got here so fast. 🥹 Senior year already?!

We had so much fun with these—and yes, I finally got to try the trendy blurry senior photos everyone has been doing lately. 😂 I have to admit… I’m kind of obsessed with them.

There’s something really special about getting to photograph your own kids as they grow. You know all the little pieces of the person behind the photos—the tiny girl they were, the things they love, the person they’re becoming.

So here’s a little peek at my beautiful senior. 🤍

And maybe this is my excuse to start sharing my photography again. 😉
