Noah | EHS c/o 2027

17 years ago I did the math and learned that 2027 was the year my youngest would graduate. It seemed so far into the future, like an abstract, hard to fathom future! How naive of me! Truly. Now here I am exactly 17 years later (on that baby’s bday, no less) introducing my first 2027 senior to the RGP pages.

I’ve watched this young boy grow, mature, and become the coolest young man! Being a part of his village and doing life along side the Ambuels is one of my greatest joys. I couldn’t imagine life without them. I am so proud of you all and Noah, especially, for being an awesome student, athlete, brother, friend and kind person! Enjoy this milestone year, Noah! I’ll be cheering you on this year and every year after that!

This may be my favorite mother and adolescent son photo of all time.

To the mommas whose sons are sprouting up, *almost* as tall as you, but still fit in your fully wrapped hugs make it a point to stop and cherish it. Etch it in your memory, take a 1000 photos, cause you'll both wake up one day very soon and he will be full-sized and you'll be the one who fits in his arms and not the other way around.

My gosh, does it go fast! My baby is turning 17 next week and I haven't had a boy smaller than me in years, the weight of their body in my arms is like a distant memory. So this is my call, a friendly push, to those who still have those growing, but not yet grown boys to take this summer and be intentional and document this stage. They are awkward and are pushing away but hold on tight!

I have a few summer sessions open if you want formal images, but this post isn't really about that, it's just a friendly reminder that babies and kids don't keep.

2026 Cap and Gown Sessions were last night! It was a gorgeous evening and I had a blast with these five grads!

These have easily become an offering I look forward to each year!

WHY should you do a Cap and Gown Session?! The answer is so simple…to celebrate you or your grad. It’s a way to cheer and mark this major milestone! This season of life is so special and deserves to be honored!
