Wow I am 6 days behind posting a Mother's Day image. Last year I swore I would post this image of Grace Kirkpatrick on May 10, 2026, and I missed it! However, it is still worth doing in recognition of all those amazing mothers out there. Day in day out doing what is needed to keep life moving along...... with the generations there to back them up!

I am so lucky to walk beside so many families as they live their beautiful lives. It's an honor.

Special thanks to Connor Wines and Cate Hirschy for always taking the time to include me during the fun stuff. Moving the Longhorns and the Bucking horses are two of my favs.
The cows weren't too keen on crossing the river in their new pasture since it had ice on it. Connor had to show them how it's done. The curve and the hill by the cemetery is dangerous so it's always good to have someone flagging. Thanks Andy Baldauf 🥰

I sure do miss these days! Missed last year and this year Winter feeding in Wisdom. Sometimes real life gets in the way!

Today I was skimming through the files looking for something else and ran across this beauty of Connor Wines. Bringing in the horses is always one of my favorite things to photograph. Connor thanks for making it look so easy.

And YES ... there are about 1,000 mosquitoes covering his horse. After all it is the Big Hole you know!!!!
