I was brought to my new home on May 10th 2021. I was a Mother's Day gift so of course I love my new owner like a mama! I was bought from an Amish family and my exact details are a little bit of a mystery to my owner and since I only speak goat I am unable to fill her in...
What she does know about me is I'm just a baby goat!
I eat and drink: I mainly drink liquids from a bottle but I love eating fresh greens in the field! I drink milk in my bottles made with goat milk replacer, goat colostrum powder, goat probiotics and electrolytes. She also buys me textured goat feed and goat pellets, but I also like switching it up by eating poultry pellets, 3 grain blend, pig pellets, and an occasional piece of dog food!
I am not cheap: Although people may think that having a goat is cheap because we just eat grass I'm here to let ya know that I'm a pretty pricey pet! First there is my initial take home price, then baby goat bottles, bottle holders, goat milk replacer, goat colostrum powder, probiotics, electrolytes, goat high calorie intake grower concentrate, Goat lung dewormer, antibiotics, feeder bottle, feed bucket, water bucket, goat textured feed, a collar, a harness, a leash, a lead rope, a stake out, a fenced in area, a house, bedding like pine shavings, indoor blankets for bedding, and more goat pellet feed bc I'm picky!
I'm a lot of work: If you think I'm easy to care for your wrong. I am a baby! I'm a lot like having a human baby! Although, I am a little younger than most goats that are sold, we goats are a real learning experience. I'm picky, and my taste pallet is always changing as I grow. Sometimes I drink water on my own, sometimes I want my bubba, sometimes I like my goat feed, sometimes I want to go eat all the greens I can, sometimes I get scared and cry for my mama, sometimes I totally get mesmerized by all the pretty flowers, butterflies and fun things to try to eat and I forget about her, other times I cry out just because I want her to pick me up and hold me! Sometimes, I like to go for car rides!
I like to go places: Lately, I have been going on trips to town which is why this page is being started.
I like riding in the car, I walk really well on a leash, I really like to socialize, I like being pet and getting head scratches! People have some great reactions when the first see me and I make so many people smile! I have even been visiting some pet friendly establishments with my mama!
