Moosehead Images Nature & Wildlife Photography from the Northwoods of Maine and beyond. The simple things in life inspire me the most.

I love to capture the natural beauty in everything I see, and share it with others. Nature and wildlife photography is my true love. My heart is drawn to Maine's wilderness and Maine's coast. I am deeply moved by the untouched forests and untamed wildlife of the north woods, and the rocky shores and burning skies of the east coast. Sports photography is an energizing part of my passion. Seizing moments of success on the court, on the field, in the snow, or on the water are exciting and rewarding parts of my photography journey. Portrait photography is fun and always unique. I enjoy photographing outdoors, in settings that are quiet and comfortable, or in a requested setting that is special to you. YOU are amazing, and I work hard to reveal your true aura.

This is likely the last time I'll see this cow here feeding. She's been finding food elsewhere for a while, but stopped by to check for some under water vegetation to fill her belly.

While I always welcome the magnificent season of autumn, I do miss seeing the moose in the water.

Carefully following wildlife throughout the seasons makes those changes more meaningful.

The bulls have been moving more, looking for their cows. I'm excited to see what this year's moose rut has to offer. 🫎
