Well… somehow we pulled it off. 🥹☁️
The 9th Annual CFWA Summit is officially over, and I’m not even sure I’ve fully processed the last few days yet.
We went into this year knowing we wanted to elevate Summit. We wanted it to feel bigger, better and more intentional - not just a conference, but an actual experience from beginning to end. And I am so freaking proud of what we accomplished.
There were months and months of planning behind those two days. Being Vice President this year meant the world to me, I got to be very involved in bringing so much of it to life… (while also running a business, moving, having wrist surgery and recovering, and apparently deciding sleep was optional for most of 2026. 😂) I am so thankful to be trusted with such an important role.
There were countless hours spent in meetings, emails, spreadsheets, mood boards, ideas that turned into completely different ideas, last-minute changes, and approximately 900 things happening at once.
But then the doors opened....
And suddenly all of those little pieces we had been obsessing over for months were REAL but the outcome was nearly identical to the vision. And that part was pretty damn cool.
Because as proud as I am of the work I personally had the privledge to put into this, something of this size takes a village, and we had a really, really, damn good one.
I’m so proud of our Board of Directors and everything we accomplished together, some being thrown into planning two months before without hesitation, some even being sponsors themselves. Long phone calls, (I need to tally up the hours spent on the phone with Anita alone 😂😜) long meetings, a lot of time dedicated to CFWA. Every single one of them played a huge role in the success of this event. We broke records on social media, broke records with attendance, and broke records with our Membership. I’m incredibly grateful for our sponsors who gave their time, talent, products and services to help us bring some pretty ambitious ideas to life. Our speakers were absolutely top notch and poured so much knowledge into our attendees. Our Emcees were supportive and insightful. And Natalie & the team (cont'd in comments)
