We had a great start to Fall Family Minis this weekend! Minis are a labor of love but they’re the best kind of busy. I typically have an existential crisis when it comes time to cull and edit all of the galleries, but getting to catch up with repeat clients, meet new families, and explore new locations is a highlight of my fall! Well worth it. 🤍

Mini Session FAQs

Q: We don’t have kids, are we still welcome?
A: Of course! Families in all seasons are welcome to book a mini. Itty bitty kids, grown kids, 10 kids, no kids…. I would love to see you!

Q: Can we include extended family?
A: Yes, but depending on total number of family members, I may require that you book more than one time slot to make sure we have enough time together.

Q: Will you be opening more dates?
A: Not at this time. HOWEVER. If you are able to get 2+ friends that would be willing to tag along with you on your desired date and hour time slot, I will happily open that date for you if my schedule allows.

Q: Do you help pick outfits?
A: I am a big fan of capturing families in a way that is true to who they are and in the way that they feel most comfortable. If you are a bold and colorful human, I would never suggest that your family show up wearing shades of beige, for example. I would be glad to help you style what you already have in your closet… buying new, coordinating outfits for your photo session is lovely, but certainly not required.

Q: What if it rains?
A: It depends! If it’s pouring and thundering and lightning, I will schedule a make up date. If it’s just drizzling, we will probably shoot anyway. Fun fact: these promo images were taken in the rain. 🌧️

I miss the days of Instagram when you would post images for art’s sake. Without the laundry list of dos and don’ts. Without perfect timing, pithy captions, or hashtag strategies. I say this as I struggle to write something profound to go with this joy-filled image, but all that comes to mind is
