Haven’t been sharing here much as Facebook has been pretty restrictive on bo***ir content lately, but an exception...
I have watched Clients laugh until they cry, and cry until they laugh through my lenses. I have watched them fall down. Literally. I have dried tears and massaged foot cramps and fixed hundreds of wardrobe malfunctions. I have watched vulnerability unfold at its best and worst. But I have never had a Client almost walk out of their session.
As I look at the final photos now, it’s hard to believe that anxiety almost cancelled such a special day for her. We have cultivated a society where beauty is partial to age and flawless skin and weight, a place where a mama who has nourished 3 babies struggles to find acceptance in stretch marks on a belly that once created life. Here is a reminder that while we will never change how the world views us, we can always change how we view ourselves..😌❤️🩹
