4000 years ago, God was using someone else to teach me a lesson now.

1 Kings 17 teaches me that when God say "Go", it's for a good reason, it's going to be uncomfortable, you should prepare to stay, know that He goes before you, it's all about trusting the Lord and having full assurance that He will take care of you.
This isn't a question of do you trust IN God, but simply, do you TRUST God.

It's been a painful season, but He is taking care of me.

The road itself is a masterpiece, captured here at peak color on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just like the leaves, the most beautiful things we experience are often the result of change and growth and letting go. The "mountain top" views are the ultimate reward for the journey, proving that the drive through the winding "valley seasons" is always worth it.
