Being as I haven’t shown my face here for almost 3 years… I suppose I’m over due for an introduction. Heyyy, I’m the one behind the lens, always popping around the camera to smile and make people feel more at ease. It’s so daunting getting in front of the camera and I’m so thankful to each of my clients for showing up and trusting my vision to capture their business in a creative way. My goal is always to make y’all stand out in a very consumer based world where everything is constantly at our fingertips and ads bombard us every which direction.

Something many people don’t know about me: I didn’t read books for many years because I took on so much work that I would edit between 8pm(when the kids would go to sleep) and stay up till 2-4am editing. I’m on a health journey to manage my time better and to get better sleep. Being a night owl, I need to read for around an hour every night till my eyes are heavy and I can sleep. Otherwise, my brain will just keep me awake for hours thinking and swirling on all the things I have to do. Can anyone relate?

If you haven’t seen me recently, I am back as a brunette and ready to work with you on getting the ball rolling for your next project in 2025!

I haven’t posted in a while. I’m dipping my toes back in. How are y’all doing? I’m pretty good. Got my final chest x ray today and got the all clear. 🙏🏻🙌🏻

Had such a good time with Taylor from ! She had a clear vision for what she wanted to accomplish during her session. We worked efficiently in her 90 minute session with capturing different products styled in locations around her house and studio.

Hope you loved them Taylor! I’ve loved seeing them spread across your feed. 🫶

Branding session vs headshots. That’s the big question.

Generally, Branding sessions(90 minutes) we get more imagery to tell stories with. Share your behind the scenes, the nitty gritty of what you want clients to expect when meeting you. I have a questionnaire form for you to fill out and that allows me to make suggestions for the shot list. I’ll always have you bring your tools of the trade- even if that’s coffee or Dr Pepper. Because your branding session is about connecting with your clients and showing who you are.

Headshots(20 minutes) are more simple! I ask questions like color palette, what it’s for, horizontal or vertical or both, etc…
I give you wardrobe tips, usually a simple outfit change like a sweater or jacket change. We pick a location that has lots of spots to work close together and generally get 3-5 images that are unique. This is for the person who needs shot for LinkedIn, a resume or a website.

Which do you need for your business? Have you had the same headshot for 5 years? Maybe it’s time to update that. Or maybe it’s time to really shine the light on what you do. Either way, I’m here for you.

It’s almost time for vacation! I’ll be out of the office from the 17th-27th. I’m headed to Seattle and can’t wait for all the seafood and delicious drinks as I celebrate 11 years with my hubby.
