I’ve poured so much of myself into kickstarting this venture into tintype photography. What started as simple curiosity has grown into something deeper and more meaningful than I ever expected.

There’ve been steep learning curves, long nights, plenty of trial and error, and moments I wasn’t sure it would ever fully take shape…certainly not this quickly.

I’m so grateful for every bit of encouragement along the way - for those who’ve supported every photography endeavor over the last 10 years and those who’ve believed in this dream right alongside me. This studio is shaped by all of that.

On December 13th, that little dream becomes real as we open Winona’s new tintype studio, Collective Types. We’ll be hosting an open house from 2–4pm. Come say hi, see the space, watch a tintype develop in real time, and celebrate this new chapter with us. RSVP: Collective Types Studio Open House
