Twice a year I do a big toy drive for Children’s Hospital of Milwaukees oncology unit. My daughter has checkups for her leukemia there once every 3 months and we like to bring in donations as much as we can!

I have updated our Amazon wish list—link below. The items on the list would be for their treasure chest closet, their “poke” cart for their lab, and the free book cart. All items will come directly to my house and will come down to Milwaukee with us for Peytons 3 month checkup in July!

These items bring a whole new meaning to comfort for these kiddos during their appointments. Please consider donating, even if it’s just something small! 🫶

Behind the lens 📸

For those who are new to my page…

My name is Brooke Bornemann. The name of my photography business has so much meaning behind it that is near and dear to my heart. My daughter, Peyton, was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in November of 2020 at the age of 2. Borne is part of our last name, and Brave represents not only our daughter but also all the other little warriors out there! I know in my heart they were all born brave & are destined for something big 💛

Although photography is only my side gig next to my full time job, it brings me immense happiness!

I have one daughter and have been married for almost 17 years to my high school sweetheart. Shortly after getting married after high school, my husband was deployed to Iraq. We lived in WA state for two years following his deployment before returning back to WI where our family is. Being an Army wife is one of the proudest titles I've held in my life. I couldn't be more thankful for our Veterans (& YES, I absolutely offer a military discount 💙)! We also have 2 labs and consider them our babies. I have a horse and enjoy horseback riding when I'm not spending time with my family or doing photography.

I look forward to meeting you & capturing your special moments should you choose to book a session with me. Thank you to all my clients who have already helped me get started over the past few years!!
