I will only be doing mini sessions for the time being. I can book any 15 min session for $25, doesn't matter if it's senior photos or mini engagement or family. Read below for the reason.
This year, I went through something terrifying. Only close family and friends knew. I had contracted that nasty virus that went around just after Christmas. It seemed to cause a secondary bacterial infection for everyone and I didn't realize how serious it was. December 31st, before Matt left for work, he asked how I was doing and I said, "I feel like I'm dying". Later that early afternoon, I felt bad enough that my blood pressure was extremely high and I made an appointment at my clinic which she told me to just go to the ER. Leighlan came with me and was very helpful, but they got me back pretty quickly and things went very fast. As we were sitting in the hallway, they started an iv for fluids for dehydration and antibiotics for a possible secondary bacterial infection. Within about 20 min, my blood work came back and my entire eye was swollen shut and I felt like I was having trouble breathing and swallowing. They informed me that I was in sepsis and severely dehydrated. I was admitted and went days through massive amounts of antibiotics but because of my other health problems, the doctor explained my body was reacting with peaks and valleys. I'd show improvement but then I'd dip again. Once they felt like I was stable enough to go home, I didn't realize the mental and emotional toll it had taken. I'd finally seen my kids and what I could have lost.
I'm talking about this because the things I find important to me are bringing happiness to others and doing the things I enjoy. Photography got me through the massive mental and emotional toll just after brain surgery. I feel like my time to shoot and edit other's photos is valuable, but I also believe in my heart that people just cannot afford photos for their family or have never been able to have them done. I'm a photographer and I've NEVER had family photos done. I just look at the cost and I compare it to how much my groceries would I be able to buy with that amount of money.
So, I'd like to offer a small price for my time to give you something that brings happiness. It's becoming the seasons for senior photos and family photos. Good weather for a sweet engagement shoot before a summer wedding. If anytime you're interested, please don't hesitate to message me.
