This is why we love keeping our family sessions moving! We give the kids room to be themselves, encourage the parents to join in, and let those natural smiles and giggles happen along the way.

Me remembering I own a business and should probably post on social media more often. 😂🙋‍♀️

Listen, I’m a videographer, not a full-time social media influencer! Sometimes I’m busy behind the camera, editing videos, helping Rob with photos, answering messages, or just trying to remember what day it is. 🤣

But when it’s time to show up for our clients? We’re there!

You don’t have to be celebrating a birthday, welcoming a new baby, graduating, or hitting some big milestone to have pictures taken.

Sometimes, it’s just an ordinary Saturday.

The kids are growing like weeds. Your house is probably a little messy. Life is busy, the days run together, and you’re just doing your best to keep up with everything.

Nothing particularly special is happening.

Except… everything is happening.

Your little one is saying words they won’t mispronounce forever. Your kids have their own little personalities, inside jokes, and silly ways of doing things. Maybe they’re still small enough to want to be picked up, or maybe they’re at that age where they’d rather run off and do their own thing.

Let’s talk about something we hear more often than you might think.

People who want family pictures but hesitate to book them because they don’t like how they look in photos.

Maybe you feel like the camera always catches you at the wrong angle. Maybe you pick apart every little thing you don’t like about yourself when you see a picture. Maybe you automatically volunteer to take the picture so you don’t have to be in it.

Or maybe you’ve been telling yourself you’ll get in front of the camera when you lose a little weight, feel more confident, or finally get to a place where you like what you see in the mirror.

First, we want you to know that you’re not alone in feeling this way. ❤️

We also want you to know that you don’t have to wait until you feel completely confident to have pictures taken with the people you love.

Because here’s the thing: your family doesn’t see you the same way you see yourself.

Your kids aren’t looking at your pictures and checking whether your hair was perfect or whether your outfit was flattering. They’re seeing MOM.

📸 Worried your kids won’t behave for family pictures? GOOD NEWS! 😂

First of all, have you MET kids? Because we have. A LOT of them. 😂

We know they wiggle. They run. They make ridiculous faces. They suddenly forget how to listen the second a camera comes out. And sometimes, the more you ask them to smile, the more determined they become to do literally anything else.

And guess what? That’s okay!

We’re not expecting your kids to stand perfectly still, smile on command, and behave like tiny little adults for an entire session.

That’s not really our thing anyway!

We love giving kids something to DO. We’ll play games, make silly requests, get everybody moving, and encourage those little personalities to shine. Sometimes we’ll ask them to follow the leader, run toward Mom and Dad, or do something that gets everybody laughing.

And sometimes, the pictures we love most come from the moments nobody planned. The unexpected giggles, the goofy expressions, the big hugs, and the little bits of chaos that make your family YOUR family. ❤️

And parents, please don’t spend your entire session apologizing for your kids being kids. We promise, you don’t have to!

You don’t need to bribe them into perfect behavior or spend the whole drive here threatening to take away screen time. (We’ve all been there! 😂)

Our job is to work with your family, help everyone feel comfortable, and capture the connections that make your family special.

Will every single second go according to plan? Probably not.
