Hello 👋🏻 Friends and Photography buddies! This last few months God has been stirring in our hearts several changes that would be coming. For me, I strongly felt like God was bringing closure to this amazing job that I’ve had since 2014. I don’t know what’s next or if I’ll ever pick it up again but a season of rest and staying home with the boys full time was what I was being drawn into. I’ve enjoyed with all my heart every photoshoot, story, and client that I’ve met- it’s such a gift to be able to take photos for people. I feel so honored everytime to hold something so precious. I truly love when people text and ask for that link one more time, or getting emailed back a 2nd, 3rd, or 8th time for more photos down the road. Watching the kiddos get bigger, or hearing life changes like buying a house, or getting new jobs, or having a new little one - I’m always rooting and praying for you to see more of God’s goodness and faithfulness in your life! And the best thing, is I have and do! So thank you for spreading it along and bearing witness to it!
Now it’s my turn to share His faithfulness with you!
Garett, back in December, felt like God gave him peace to find his next assignment in ministry. It’s no shock to say California is expensive, and where our family’s priorities lie, being home with the kiddos is a luxury that California can no longer afford.
We were open to moving anywhere in the country because California is just that expensive!! lol But then the task was, where God do you have for us? He had given us certain experiences that developed our discernment and fine tuned it to somehow know what we were looking for. And seriously glory all to God- He had lined something strategically up for us. Every box was checked in our hearts as we interviewed with a church in Missouri. Every little detail. When the Bible says He gives you the desires of your heart- man He doesn’t hold back. Waiting on Him is always a good idea. So with that, I will probably be making an ElliottHome account to chronicle our next season. I will be keeping all the photos safely on Smugmug for at least this next year if not longer.
