I’ve had several people reach out asking if I’ll be doing anything like school picture sessions. I know picture day for JAG schools is tomorrow but I figured I’d at least leave it up to all of you, would you guys like me to do a school mini day? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I made a very “not thrilled” Hayden pose for me real quick this evening before I took my daughter to gymnastics, so I could show an example of what we could do. If I get a big interest I’ll put something more detailed together tomorrow! 📸

I have absolutely LOVED working with lighting and have so many fun studio ideas I’d love to try especially for Christmas this year! Something I’ve been thinking really hard about is looking for some kind of space to rent this fall as a small studio. I figured I’d ask if anyone knew of anywhere that might have a small office space or a local business with a room for rent? Right now I’m just trying to get some ideas and see if it’s even a possibility for me 🤷🏼‍♀️ any help is appreciated!!

I had the pleasure of taking some updated family photos for a very special family! ❤️

The Johnston’s were seriously the sweetest, and right from the start I knew we were going to have some fun! These kiddos definitely kept me on my toes but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

We had to fight off ALL the mosquitoes, but that didn’t stop us from playing in the water, laughing, and just having a good time together. In between all the craziness, we managed to capture some pretty special moments too. 📸

I love when family sessions don’t feel like you’re just “taking pictures.” We get to play, be silly, make memories, and somehow end up with some beautiful photos along the way.

We are soaking up every last little bit of summer we can 😎

I truly can’t believe tomorrow is September 1st! It’s starting to get cooler at night, the kids went back to school today and this past weekend was the Portage County Fair which I always felt was the unofficial end to summer.

We ate lots of fair food, watched truck pulls and even had the privilege of supporting our friends at Bourbon Brothers Livestock. All in all it was an awesome end to our summer ☀️

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

From the ball field to our everyday lives, we are grateful for those who served and gave everything for this country. Thank you to all of our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward. ❤️🤍💙

It’s been a long busy day. Many have seen me talk about this boy’s love of baseball. We were so excited baseball was finally back. Last week at our 3rd game of the season he did something to his back I assumed was just a pulled muscle. After being in pain all weekend we went to see the sports medicine doctor today and found out it’s not a muscle but a hairline fracture in one of his vertebrae. He has to wear a brace and do PT for 6-8 weeks and unfortunately is out for the rest of the spring season. This poor kid is devastated 😞 I’m just hoping he heals quickly!
