Photos like this will always be my favorite! I know the goal of most sessions is to get everyone looking, smiling, and posed perfectly , however the true emotion , love , and essence of this little one just being herself is what you will remember for years to come. Off to another full day of sessions… looking forward to seeing many familiar faces and even some new ones today🤍✨

Good morning and happy Sunday! Just a quick editing update … all fall minis from 10/2 have been delivered and all Costal Holiday minis from 10/3 have been delivered 📧 🤍 starting to edit sessions from 10/4 in between shoots today !

So glad I made the decision NOT to move sessions today. Part of me was a little nervous especially how the last few days have been but… the beach could not be any better on a day like today…many clients may not know so I’m gonna share a little photographer secret with you all! Cloudy days do in fact make for the best light!

Why Clouds Help Photos:
✨Soft lighting: Overcast skies remove hard shadows and bright highlights.
🤍Flattering portraits: Diffused light hides skin flaws and stops people from squinting.
✨Rich colors: Reduced glare on water and leaves makes colors look deep and vibrant.
🤍Dramatic skies: Stormy or textured clouds add mood and depth to landscapes.

if you have a session booked with me this weekend please know that I am aware the weather looks 👎😞 I am doing my best to hold off on moving people around too soon because as we all know New England weather is SO unpredictable and quickly changing. Hoping things shift so we can get everyone’s sessions in ✨🤞

Being a new mother can be very challenging and overwhelming . Days turn into nights in the blink of an eye. Parents can get lost between feedings, laundry & meals. Last February I had the honor of capturing Maryann ( and 4 amazing new moms) for her branding photos. Immediately after meeting Maryann from Maryann Robbins | Newborn Care & Postpartum 🌿 I knew she was a resource I would want to share with local new moms for years to come !
