Not to be dramatic but, this season gets me right in the feels. Graduation season that is. Whether it be the little ones stepping into the next grade to conquer or the big ones making their debut into the future. It’s emotional!!

I personally took a little social media hiatus to get through the end of the school year for both our girls. One graduated 3rd grade and the other, high school! It’s been a ride and truly, they’ve only just begun.

Graduation within and growing beyond grade school opens up a new world just waiting for them to make their mark! Like our girls, all the 2026 graduates big and small deserve a much needed break to gather their energy and plow forward into new beginnings!

Find the light, and magic can always be created! ✨

We didn’t have much time for this session but since my clients have a great yard and the sunset was beautifully lit amongst their trees… well, don’t the photos speak for themselves?! You can tell through my camera in the video just how beautiful the backlighting was. Also you can tell we are just to the side of their home but the pictures tell a much more enchanting story, don’t they?!

I encourage you to try playing with light in your own home photos, you might even surprise yourself! If it becomes too overwhelming however, please feel free to reach out whenever you’re ready, I am here to help!
