It is important to capture the truly sweet moments in life. ♥ Modern photography with a vintage flair. Hi!! My name is Reneé!! I’m a Momma of 4. Cheers!!

Shae, (She’s 8) Dawson (He’s 4) and twins, Shyloh & Tyce (They live in heaven). I am married to the man that makes me laugh the hardest, Scott. We don’t just live, we LOVE in a house filled with giggles, comfort, & way too many craft supplies!! If I had to describe my style, it would be “comfortable”. My favorite accessories are my kids and my camera. We pray hard, laugh alot, and try not to take

life too seriously. Those are the things I try to bring out in my photography. My ideal day starts out with snuggles and tickles to hear the sweet sound of giggles fill the air. We go barefoot outside and wear our slippers inside. Scott would play “chase” with all of us. I would have my cat eye sunglasses on while teaching Shae to blow bubbles with her gum. We would make pretend meals in
her kitchen right next to my kitchen. Then we would push Dawson around the house in his little car. And somewhere in between when Shae was making Dawson laugh, I would be able to capture that moment with my camera… and I would love the picture, not because it’s perfectly posed with a great background, but because it’s a real moment with my kids just being kids. That’s my perfect kind of day. I fell in love with photography in high school and got my first film SLR camera (before digital SLR cameras were prevalent) and took some classes. For a long time it was just a fun hobby. Once I had kids it became more of an obsession (I'm sure many of you Moms and Dads can attest to that!!). But, Fall of 2011 I decided to make a leap of faith and dive head first into photography. That was the birth of Truly Sweet Photography. I truly love all aspects of photography, but there is something magical about photographing newborns & children. My favorite verse is James 1:17, Every good and perfect gift is from above. I believe this with all my heart. Children are such a gift. I love taking the time to look at those baby blues, and being silly while capturing their curiosity & playfulness. I have a very relaxed style of photography & I love natural light. I am drawn to the photos of families interacting together, the picture of kids telling each other secrets, or the engaged couple looking at each other, lovingly, when they don’t think I’m looking. I’d love to have you come over to my in-home studio in Winder, GA for pictures or schedule an on location shoot!! I can’t wait to meet you! Reneé

I want to take a minute and brag on my sweet friend, Elizabeth Reid. If you know her you love her. She has the BIGGEST heart and ALWAYS helps whenever and wherever needed with a smile on her face. She is selfless. She is a wonderful friend, wife, mother, sister, daughter, AUNT, and so much more!! She set up senior pictures for her oldest, Alexis, and we made sure to take family photos as well. All the photo ideas were so thoughtful and made Alexis’ senior photo session one to remember!! “Reidsource” I love you sweet friend!! I’m so grateful to know you, work with you, and call you friend!!!
