My husband's Stan Kenton Christmas concert is my official start of Christmas. Of all the 25+ times I've seen it Monday night at the Birchmere was by far my favorite. The venue is amazing and the performers knocked it out of the house! Congratulations to all who made it a huge success!

My first day in Cuba we observed a youth session at Rafael Trejo Gymnasio de boxeo. Rafael Trejo has a long history in the heart of the old town in Havana. Boxing is an important part of Cuban culture. A large number of young people participate in programs with the dream of one day becoming champions. The search for candidates is done at an early age, which is one of the keys to the success of the Cuban boxing program.
