Where are my mommas due January, February and March??

When it comes to your birth, I don’t want you to feel like you just have to hope for the best and get lucky. I want you to walk into your birth feeling confidently prepared.
I know those winter months feel so far away right now.
But the holidays are coming. The schedules will fill and life will get busier. Starting now gives us something really valuable, time.

🤎 Time to connect and build a relationship before you ever need me in the room.
🤎 Time to learn tools and techniques you can actually use during labor.
🤎 Time to take a childbirth education course and practice what you learn.
🤎 Time to navigate your preferences for labor, birth and postpartum

**I only have two childbirth education courses remaining for the rest of 2026, so waiting until the new year can mean trying to squeeze preparation into an already busy season.

Birth will always have an element of unpredictability. Preparation doesn’t guarantee a particular birth, it gives you a foundation for navigating the birth you have.

So, mommas due this winter.. don’t let “I have plenty of time” turn into “I wish I had started sooner.”

I've decided to go rogue!! 😏

Let's be honest... everything feels more expensive these days.

I see it in my business, and I see it in my personal life. The cost of running a business has increased, groceries cost more, gas, bills… and it seems like every time I turn around, something else has gone up in price.

The expected move would be to follow the economy and raise my prices. However, after A LOT of thought, I've made the decision to LOWER my session pricing.

Why? Because I know many families are having to make difficult choices right now. I know photography is often one of the first things moved to the "maybe later" list. But I also know how quickly these seasons pass and how much these images mean years down the road.

I deeply value my art, and the way I navigate sessions, so; while the investment is changing, the experience is not. The care, planning, connection, guidance, and heart that go into every session will remain exactly the same. My commitment to serving my families and creating meaningful images hasn't changed one bit.

My hope is that these changes make it a little easier for you to have the moments documented that matter most.

So if we've chatted before and the timing wasn't right, I'd love to reconnect!!

Fresh 48 sessions are a beautiful way to preserve those first hours after your baby arrives. Typically photographed within 24–48 hours at your place of birth, these sessions focus on all the little details you never want to forget.

Fresh 48 sessions are a semi on-call service. Because we don’t know when exactly baby is coming, I’ll add your EDD to my calendar and we’ll be in contact as birth nears.

I’m not sure if this will reach the right person, but if you were at Italian Delight yesterday evening (Thursday) and spoke with my daughter about becoming a nurse. I just want to say thank you!! You told her you were proud of her, and that meant more than you probably realize. She’s getting ready to take her CNA exam and has been dual enrolling through LRCC throughout high school. She’s extremely passionate about becoming a nurse. It absolutely made her day to hear those words from a complete stranger. As her mom, it warmed my heart to see someone encourage her like that. The world needs more people like you.. kind, supportive, and uplifting ❤️❤️ Your words truly made a difference, and I’m so grateful.

Love a good snuggle! Do you remember your little one being so small they just tucked up on your chest, under your chin? I miss those days 🥺 This tiny, snuggly version of them will be gone and you’ll have an independent 17 year old. I promise you, you’ll want something to hold onto. I’d be honored to freeze this delicate time, giving you a little keepsake. Your heart will thank you many years from now. ❤️

This morning I hosted a free info session about birth prep/HypnoBirthing, doula support, and storytelling.

And… no one came. I had four inquiries. One sweet mama messaged this morning apologizing that her morning sickness has been super intense. Honestly, the fact that she even thought to text me while feeling that way meant so much. The other three 🤷‍♀️ I truly hope everyone is okay!

If you run a small business, you know these moments happen. You pour time into planning, preparing, showing up… and sometimes you sit there alone. And that’s just part of it. Did I cry, yes. Not sobbing, but I was sad.

I truly understand that life comes up! I’ve lived it myself. A little message or heads up always goes such a long way for small business owners who plan these things with their whole hearts. I suppose I'll eat the scones and move on 🤣

I’ll keep showing up and hope to see you at my next info session May 16th @ 9:30am!

One of my moms recently said during her maternity session “My body will never grow this baby again. Not his exact heartbeat, not his tiny movements. I am so happy I’m getting these photos done”

Pregnancy asks so much of your body..stretching, changing, and growing in ways you never imagined. But it’s also the only time in your life you will carry this baby this way. This chapter is worth remembering. Get the polaroid out or hire a photographer, connect with this little life growing inside. Hold onto this season.

A gentle reminder, if you’re due this spring, now is the time to secure your newborn session. Your estimated due date will go on my calendar, I’ll collect your contract and deposit and that’s it, until your baby arrives!

AND! To help keep things extra simple and relaxed, I offer a client closet for both mom and baby, and I will of course help guide styling for the rest of the family so everything feels cohesive and timeless. All you have to do is show up, love on your baby, and let me capture the early days for you!

Some families hire me for doula support, while others bring me in for birth photography to document their story. But if you’ve already booked one service, you always have the option to add-on the other! It’s common for families decide they want a little more support or realize they’d love their birth story captured, too. I most certainly do both!

I am currently booking through October and only take a limited number of families each month.
