A gallery I did a few years ago for the local blue collar worker during Covid. Participants include:

West Oaks Farm Market
Rudolph Angus
Lost River Welding Services
Capon Springs Vol. Fire and Rescue
Clem's Garage
Cacapon Resort State Park

This gallery was initially to be a multi-phase ongoing process, but unfortunately never took off. I still felt they should be seen. Even if they do not carry the same meaning they did at the time, the whole project was, and still is, rather special. This was several months of shooting pictures right here at home. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed watching it unfold.

A special thanks to all the hard working blue collar men and women who took the time to fit me into their busy schedule. We all appreciate and salute you.

Greetings customers, family, and friends!

It has been a busy turn of the year for me thus far! For those who are unaware, I am pursuing my college degree in communications in addition to running this business. Since we last caught up, I have had several portrait and commercial gigs. I've been fortunate to provide Valley Cycle Center with a fresh set of images taken around their showroom, and aided in the completion of the sale catalog for Rudolph Angus 8th Annual Production Sale. I've also had the privilege of putting on senior portraits and a family session.

As you may have guessed, my availability and frequency of booked gigs has declined as I have returned to my classes. Please understand that if I can fit you in, I will.

Though my work output has become more regulated, I feel as though tremendous strides have been made in my photographic journey as of late. Thank you all for any part you may have played in these gains! I look forward to another year capturing your moments!

When I was asked if I could do a more modern-themed shoot than I'm normally used to, I was initially scrambling for ideas. Then I realized, there's nothing more modern than taking a new BMW to Old Town. Add the suit, and you have a senior session that makes quite the statement.

Every now and then, I get to work with a group of people who truly make my job a joy. Yesterday was one of those days. If you don't know the folks over at the Capon Springs Vol. Fire and Rescue, they are a very tight knit family. Mr. Brill has sure got himself a fine volunteer squad in Capon Springs. Thanks again for letting me share your work with the area.

"Oh, you're a photographer! What kind of pictures do you take?"

I'm afraid it's not that simple, and people always give me funny looks when I say that I specialize in landscape and adventure photography. That's okay, I don't really expect people to get it. Sometimes, I myself don't really know why I am so drawn to it.

But then I am reminded. I go back through my photographs and it isn't just about the pictures. It's the story. We get so caught up in our lives that it is normal for us to simply exist. We lose touch with what is around us. I too struggle with this battle. It isn't until I have seen the photographs, the record of my day, that it becomes clear to me: I'm living out moments that make up folklore.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words... if that is true, then I've written more than a few books in my time. And I'm just getting started.
