A lot of galleries went out this week! With that being said..
Iโve realized that I have unintentionally set an unrealistic expectation for myself, and for my clients that galleries will be delivered almost immediately after sessions. While I am so incredibly grateful to say that I have been booked solid (thank you, Jesus), I am also balancing weddings, regular sessions, editing, running a business, and having all five of my kids home for the summer.
Trying to maintain an immediate turnaround time has started to take away from the work-life balance I really want and need for my family. Staying up until 3 am is catching up to me lol!
So, moving forward, my standard (regular) session gallery turnaround time really will be up to 2 weeks. This does not mean your gallery will always take the full two weeks, but it does give me the time to properly care for each gallery.
Sessions also will not be booked without a contract signed + retainer paid, every time.
These changes are happening to help me create a healthier, more sustainable business. I want to continue giving each session the care and attention it deserves while also being present for my children and enjoying this season of life with them. Iโm realizing just how important this time is ๐ญ
