Unfortunately the weather has darkened the scheduled sunflower minis day again and it’s my birthday so that’s gloomy.

I’ve learned I am not a normal photographer and I am creative.
I have autistic characteristics but am told it’s coping from CPTSD.
Losing a child didn’t kill me, but it required me to be in confusion and pain for a decade.
I’ve recently put the work into my mental health and oddly, it started with my physical health - followed by the mental easier to understand.
Make that into whatever but bettering myself and respecting myself - even if it doesn’t make sense FOR YOU, or TO YOU…

If I have a vision for a mini day - I can’t deviate from my plan. It causes mania and I resort to stressing myself out people pleasing and not being happy with the photo in this case because it’s not what I envisioned.

I’m an artist.
I’m not someone who took a picture for capturing a memory.
I’m someone who creates a design and wants to execute it.

I don’t believe I’m going to feel good “giving you what you want” without my vision and there for - I won’t be rescheduling the date.

If this style of passion and creativity is not understood - I understand. It isn’t easy sometimes understanding myself so why would i expect you to understand?

I hope it makes sense that I matter too 🫶
I am absolutely available to drive to the Apple farm on the estimated good weather days this week to grab them this year

BUT

the new healing I’m doing, I’m going to try to plan and offer my mini days within distance of weather predictions. It’s last min but that’s who I am. I can’t plan anything out of studio 3 months in advance.
I BURN OUT.
I lose my passion and sadly it’s everything I am, outside of being a mother.
I love creative photography and I love myself.

Thanks for reading this - and no if it rains on your wedding day - I have techniques and stress myself out I won’t not show up 😂🤘🏼

aka: Back-to-School Minis — but make them actually fun. 😂

Parents/caregivers of school-aged kiddos: whether they’re public school, private school, homeschool, preschool — I’ve got you. Ages 3+!

These are 15-minute studio sessions, because I refuse to do the “sit. click. NEXT.” routine. 😂
We’ll take a few minutes to meet, get comfortable, let their personality come out, and then LET’S SHOOT.

💰 Pricing per family:
• 1st child — $25
• 2nd — $20
• 3rd — $15
• Each additional — $10

5 kiddos = $80 total! 🫶
