One of the best compliments I’ve received recently as a wedding photographer came from a groom’s mother. ❤️

She told me, “You can tell you’ve been doing this a long time. You do your job so well, moving in and out so seamlessly that you never get in anyone’s way. Half the time, you don’t even notice you’re there.”

And honestly, that meant so much to me. 🥹

Because that’s exactly what I strive for. To capture every beautiful, emotional, once in a lifetime moment without interrupting it. To know when to step in, when to step back, and how to let the day unfold naturally.

The best moments aren’t staged. They’re lived. And my job is to preserve them without taking away from them. 📸❤️

You may get tired of hearing “just one more picture,” but how could I possibly resist when you’re this beautiful?! 🥹 I’m absolutely obsessed with every little thing about you, and I swear you get more beautiful every single day.

Someday you’ll have thousands of little memories to look back on, and I’ll have thousands of reasons to smile.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing so many beautiful weddings. Different venues, different styles, color palettes, florals, decorations, traditions, and all the little details that make each celebration unique. But every once in a while, a wedding comes along that touches something a little deeper in my soul. ❤️

This was one of those weddings.

The soft, moody lighting, the intimate atmosphere, the rich, vibrant colors, the thoughtfully chosen details, and the warmth that filled the room. Everything came together so effortlessly. There was something incredibly romantic about the simplicity of it all, while still being so full of personality and beauty.

And can we talk about how romantic it is to simply sit down, share an incredible meal, enjoy good conversation, and celebrate love with the people who mean the most to you? There’s something so special about gathering around a table, slowing down, and truly enjoying those moments together.

This day was a beautiful reminder that weddings don’t have to be extravagant to be absolutely breathtaking. Sometimes it’s the atmosphere, the connection, and the smallest details that leave the biggest impression.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Toothaker! 🥂❤️ Your day was truly one of a kind, and one I won’t soon forget.

No appointments or scheduled time slots — just show up anytime during the timeframe!

Everyone is welcome — all school districts, all ages, and all grades. You do not have to attend Mt. Blue to come!

All the information is in the flyer below. We’d love to see you this weekend! ❤️

❤️ A percentage of proceeds from School Portrait Day will be donated to RSU 9’s Winter Gear Program, helping provide local students with the winter gear they need this season!

It’s official! 📸🍎

Keep an eye on those take-home folders! This is the same flyer that will be making its way home with students, and we are SO excited to offer a local option for school portraits this year.

School Portrait Days will be held October 3rd from 3–5 PM and October 4th from 12–2 PM at 102 Pine Tree Lane in Farmington.

Portraits are $20 per child and include a digital image, with additional print options available.

And one thing I really want to emphasize: you do NOT have to attend a specific school or even be part of the Mt. Blue School District to participate. Homeschool families and students from surrounding school districts are absolutely welcome, too!

We would LOVE to see everyone. ❤️

There’s something special about being able to keep services like this local, knowing exactly who is photographing your child, who is handling their images and information, and where those memories are being stored.
