I’m editing pictures from a session last weekend. I always enjoy photographing this family. All of my return customers are special. But these particularly so. These are dear friends to me. Watching this little boy grow throughout the years is a great privilege.
Time goes by so fast, I am reminded, when I think of my own children (who are all now adults) at that age. Photographs play such an important role in everyone's life – they connect us to our past, they remind us of people, places, feelings, and stories. They can help us to know who we are. ... Photographs, even of buildings, can be vital memory cues. But photographs are our personal treasures of memories, tangible pictures in our mind. It is a great honor to be asked to capture these important moments for you. That is my job and main “focus”.... it’s not the action of capturing you, It’s the action of preserving your history.
Thankyou for the opportunity you’ve all given me.
