I can't believe I'm making this post right now...

January 6th, 2023 will be 7 years since I started this incredible adventure in the world of music. If you would've told 14 year old me that at 21 we would of done every bucket list thing we planned, she'd never believe you.

Speaking of that bucket list...

When I first started nearly 7 years ago, I made a list of goals I had for myself in music. It was composed of a ton of bands I planned to photograph, being an in house, covering festivals, owning a publication, and working for LiveNation.
These last several years I've checked off everything on this list with zero hesitation. Every band, every festival, you name it. Hell, I was even able to do the one thing on there I never thought I would, which was photographing My Chemical fu***ng Romance. But aside from all of these goals, all these artists I've wanted to cover and festivals I wanted to do, there was one band that has been left on this list for a few years now...
Pierce The Veil was the final band on my original bucket list I created at 14. Throughout the years I'd always try to cover them, but unfortunately never got the chance. When they began releasing new music and doing shows again recently, I knew no matter where I had to go, or what I needed to do, I was going to try my hardest to finally check this final thing off.
After several months of waiting to apply, applying, and anxiously waiting to see what the outcome was, I finally got word yesterday afternoon that tonight, after a 7 year long wait, I'll be photographing Pierce The Veil.
Words can't even begin to describe the way I've felt since yesterday. When I read the email I honestly fell to the floor and cried. This is me doing everything teenage me didn't think was possible, this is me giving my future everything I had and it paying off.
To say I'm covering this is a dream, but to say I'll be covering it with my sister who's been with me since day one of this ride standing side stage watching me is something I can't put into words.

I did it, I fu***ng did it. 😭
