I’m incredibly excited to finally share this brand film I created for Burish Builders.
This one means a lot to me.
Burish Builders is a roofing company serving Wilmington and the Southeast with pride, humility, and a true servant’s heart. But this film is about so much more than roofing. It’s about the heartbeat behind the company.
The owner, Mat Burish, is not only a friend and colleague in my sober community… he is also someone who deeply impacted my own life. The way he treats people, the way he leads, and the way he carries himself played a real role in inspiring me toward sobriety.
And that same heart shows up in the way he runs his company.
Burish Builders gives recovered and recovering alcoholics and addicts a real shot at a new life. A new purpose. A new identity. They don’t just hire workers. They invest in people.
Every year, Mat takes his team on a tropical retreat and covers the trip. Excursions. Laughter. Great food. Rest. Team bonding. Growth. The kind of experience that fills people back up so they can come home recharged and ready to serve homeowners well.
That’s rare.
And it’s powerful.
This film was created to attract more of the right people. Not everyone will be the right fit for Burish Builders. But for the people who are, it can be absolutely life-changing.
Honestly… after making this film, it made me want to work for them.
The response from the leadership team when they watched it was overwhelming. Tears. Emotion. Gratitude. That’s always a sign that we captured something real.
