Getting to see my past couples later in life when they have some very exciting things to document… it’s one of my favorite things ever. Morgan & Connor got married in October 2024 and fast forward to two years later, I got to see them in October again, but this time, to snap some photos of their next big adventure: parenthood!!! I am SO beyond thrilled for these two, I can’t wait to see y’all become the best parents ever 😍😍😍 that baby is already so lucky.

Yesterday was a dream. The most perfect weather, a beautiful backdrop, the vibes were high, the dance floor was packed, and the sweetest couple joining their lives together. Thank you for such a wonderful day, Maddie & Cam! Your little family of 4 is just a joy to be around. So happy I got to be there to capture it all. CONGRATS to the newlyweds!!!

It’s already Friday?? This month has been crazy! Last weekend I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and took the weekend off from photo-ing all the weddings but I’ve been clocked back in all week working hard on all of your galleries! Tomorrow I’m back at the beautiful Wrightsville Manor celebrating Maddie & Cameron!

Zeppelin really said okay I guess my parents can be in my photos with me but let’s make sure this is still about me 😂

My friends Matt & Blair got married a few years ago in Asheville (I got to photograph that gorgeous day and no I’m still not over it) and hadn’t had any updated family photos since then! So they booked a little session with their sweet boy Zep and we frolicked around the woods together and got some new photos for their walls! You don’t have to be popping out babies every year to be able to update your family photos. Just fyi. Take the photos. You’re going to want them to look back on 🩷

Often times couples skip getting ready photos or just give me a super small amount of time for those moments, in order to cut time and save a bit of $$$. Which is so fair. But - they’re often some of my favorite moments! The anticipation of the day, the calm before the storm, the candids of authentic moments and sometimes tears. Moments with your pup (I love the first photo so much I’m sharing it again in b&w) who doesn’t get to be at a majority of the day. I love getting ready time. 🩷

10-17-26 🩷 Hannah & Antwaiin planned an intimate beach wedding out at the very end of Oak Island. Of course, it was another weekend of unpredictable weather and they had to pivot some plans but by some miracle, they were still able to have their ceremony out on the beach! That’s all we could really ask for! They had a private chef come out to the beach house to prepare a multi course dinner, which is a luxury that not a lot of large weddings would ever be able to do, and what a treat! Congrats to these two sweet sweet humans 😍 truly can’t wait to go through all of these images and get to work!

It’s been a whirlwind of a weekend celebrating two of my best friends getting married and stepping on the OTHER side of the camera and being a bridesmaid instead of a photographer! So much fun. I’d do it again tomorrow. (After a full 24 hours of rest today thank you) and ummmm what is this sudden cold front?! I’ll take it. Bring on real fall temps and let’s keep this crazy wedding season going! Lots of pics to edit lots of weddings to share lots more weddings to shoot - here we go!
