We explored the art of self portraits in my photo class today and my students all did an awesome job! I thought I would do the assignment too. Here are some of my results which I actually like, even though I am in them! Normally I don't care for this selective color technique, but it seems to work in these images.

Beautiful couple, beautiful wedding, and a perfect ceremony on the bay at sunset! Miranda and Aaron were made for each other, and as proof the powers that be made sure the weather and the whole gosh darn day was spectacular! I had a ball! I think the photos say it all. Enjoy!

I just had to share this amazing experience! While in Florida last week visiting my mom, we went out on a boat in Indian River, Sebastian, FL and saw a herd of manatees during mating season. It was incredible! I have never seen a manatee in the wild and this time we saw 15 or more! I waded through the water on a sand bank to get a little closer and my 210 mm lens helped a bit too! What a cool adventure!

Great photo session with my beautiful neighbor & friend Miranda, and her wonderful finance, Aaron! These two were truly meant to be. I had so much fun hanging out & photographing them, and I think the photos definitely capture their genuinely sweet and silly personalities and their love and respect for each other! I am looking forward to photographing them again at their wedding in September 2014. Love you guys! Much more to come...

"Transitions" is a new photography exhibit by members of the Brandywine Photo Collective. Opening reception is Sunday, May 4 from 12-4pm. The DE Art Museum has free admittance on Sundays, so it's a win, win event! Come on out next Sunday and see what my wonderfully talented photographer friends and I have been up to. It's a great mix of styles and creative photographic techniques. The show will be in the Outlooks Gallery until August 3rd, so if you can't make the opening please try to stop by this summer sometime. Thanks all!

I am one block off Delaware Ave. near Kelly's Logan House in Trolley Square. Open house, wine, cheese, food, friends, good times! Kids are welcome. What a nice honor! I won second runner up in the AAA Mid-Atlantic world photography contest. My daughter thinks she is famous because this is the back of her head! LOL! Very nice article!

I had the pleasure of doing a photography session with newborns twin boys. They were great little models! Identical twins, but each with their own, very distinct personality.

Very excited…just signed a lease on this studio space! I love a blank canvas. Can't wait to decorate! I'll be sure to post the after photo's when I'm done. I'll also be having an open house sometime around March 1. Details coming soon!
