A bittersweet announcement 🤍

At the end of January, I’ll be closing the doors to Chapter & Verse.

This hasn’t been an easy thing to share — honestly, it’s taken me a while to even find the words.

This studio has been such a beautiful chapter of creativity, connection, and endless blessings. It was never a failure. It was a gift. A season full of life, growth, and God’s kindness in ways I could have never planned on my own.

Tonight, a dear friend shared with me about a hard decision she’s also walking through. We both found ourselves grieving what we thought this season would look like — and yet being gently reminded that God is often doing something deeper than we can see. Sometimes, we have to do less so He can do more.

Then she tagged me in a post online that stopped me in my tracks:
“Lord, you write the best stories. I’m trusting that the next chapter is even better.” (Midnight Mama)
And that’s where my heart is resting right now.

Chapter & Verse has been a place of beauty, creativity, and community — and I will forever be grateful for every person who walked through its doors, created here, and trusted me with their stories. As hard as this is, I have so much peace knowing God is guiding this next step, even when it feels tender and unknown.

✨ A quick note as we close this chapter:
I’ll be keeping bookings open for the next couple of weeks. I’ll be in the process of moving things out during the last week of January, but if you need a space during one of the dates I have blocked off, feel free to send me a message and I’ll do my best to make it work.

Thank you for loving this space, for supporting my work, and for being part of this chapter. I’m trusting Him fully as He writes what comes next 🤍

Taking your own family photos can be quite the challenge, but hey, at least everyone is present here 😅

Just wanted to drop in and say thank you to all of the amazing and talented photographers who used my space the last couple of months. You truly transformed this space into something so magical and captured so many amazing moments. This little space has been such a beautiful creative outlet for me and what a joy it has been to be able to share it with all of you.

The Christmas set-up will stay up through Dec 29th in case you need to squeeze in a few extra sessions. The bow will remain up through the first couple of weeks of January for any Valentine's day theme sessions or minis. ❤️

Hey friends!

Just sent out an email to everyone who will be at the studio tomorrow! Apparently we are supposed to get some snow (somewhere between a dusting and 67" 🤪). So please refer to your booking emails or that recent emails if you need to reschedule.

I know for me I'm staying inside all day and retreating to my editing cave with my Butter Toffee Latte from Kava!
