Hi, it’s me, Emily - the photographer behind Windsor Grey Photography. ✨
Usually I’m the one behind the camera, but every now and then I (reluctantly) step in front of it. The first two photos were taken while photographing a wedding in Tuscany, Italy, and they feel like the perfect excuse to reintroduce myself!
When I’m not working, you can usually find me hanging out with my three dogs (Napoleon, Lee, and Ronnie) or my horse, Oliver. I have far too many hobbies, but some top favorites are kayaking, hiking, reading a good book on the beach, starting a new home repair project, or revamping my quail aviary yet again.
A few other things to know about me:
-If it comes in teal, it's gonna be teal.
-I will always try to take a selfie with any animal who comes to a wedding. They are my favorite guest.
-If there’s an opportunity to be on any kind of boat, I’m taking it.
-Coastal air is my happy place. There's a reason I moved to Savannah from NC!
-I always have a book in progress- anything from fantasy to history. I love a good audiobook while I edit or drive!
-I love to travel, and any opportunity to get in a "work-cation" is heartily embraced. My most recent trip was to Italy, but I am hoping to go somewhere with snow this winter!
-Cheese is actually a food group IMO
My approach to weddings is the same way I approach life - embracing adventure, finding beauty in the in-between moments, and appreciating the stories that make each person unique. Whether your wedding is along the coast, on a family farm, or halfway across the world, I’m here to document it honestly and beautifully. I'm absolutely ready to wade through water, be bitten by a thousand gnats, or haul gear up a mountain to get the shot! I bring enthusiasm, some humor, and occasionally some farm life solutions when things start to go sideways at a wedding (do you know how many times duct tape and some sandbags have saved arbors from being blown away on the beach?)
