As I wrap up my third year pursuing my photography career here in Wilmington, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. This fall marked a huge milestone for me, it was the first season I was able to pursue photography full time. I stepped away from teaching, and while there are days I miss it, I am so incredibly thankful for this little business I’m building and the life it’s creating for my family.

Capturing moments in time for people truly fills my cup. Over the last three months alone, I had the privilege of photographing 46 sessions, the most I’ve ever done in one quarter, and none of it would have been possible without the amazing families who trust me to tell their stories.

To my clients: thank you for laughing with me, walking up and down the beach and all over downtown (because we all know I love a good walking shot 😉), for supporting this dream, and for continuing to come back. I’m endlessly grateful for the repeat clients, the referrals, and every kind message that reminds me why I took this leap.
