Raise your hand if planning your outfits feels like the hardest part of family photos? The number one thing I hear before a session: ‘I have no idea what to put everyone in.’

Here’s the short answer: Warm tones layered with neutrals. Nothing that competes for attention. Fabrics that move. Check out the Fall Outfit Blog Post for more inspiration (🔗 link in bio)

The longer answer is that you don’t have to figure it out alone. Every family I photograph gets a client guide, access to Style & Select, and access to me as your wingwoman so we can chat all about your outfits as much as you want before session day 🤍

Bare feet, green grass, a swing, fresh-picked tomatoes, and a squishy newborn… what’s not to love about this dreamy backyard session!?

Backyard sessions quickly moving up on my list of favorite locations 🥰

What are your favorite ways to keep the kids entertained outdoors in the Fall? I’ll drop a few here and add yours to the comments!

•Color Hunt - grab some paint swatches from the local hardware store and see how many shades of leaves you can find outside to match the colors

•Potions - my kids have always been scavengers that love to collect things. We forage, throw all their treasures into a mason jar with some water, and viola… magic potions!

•Nature walk - My little ones love getting to feel like the ‘leader’ if we explore somewhere
