I do NOT edit any of my photos as I believe that no editing software would even begin to capture the true essence of God's creation! I do NOT use any filters either. I leave for work before the sun rises in the mornings. When we have a beautiful sunrise, our girls are always wanting to photograph them. This morning, our eldest daughter captured this and sent it to me. I hope they always appreciate the sunrises and sunsets❤️

So...I have been thinking a lot about this post. I wasn’t sure what I was going to say or how I was going to say it. So near with me as I just type off th cuff...
You see, when I was filmed for the special Roy’s Folks, I hadn’t told anyone what was happening in our lives. Let me explain...
God has opened so many doors for us over the past few months and showed us that we are supposed to move back to the coast. My husband is originally from there and all of his family is down there. We lived there for 8 years before moving to Stokes County. Originally, I am from Stokes County (where we have been living for the past 5 years). Unfortunately, my parents have both passed (at young ages) and my husband works remotely, so there was really nothing holding us back from moving back to the coast. Our girls have really missed their family and friends. With all of that said, these views were the views that I saw on Monday (when the movers came to move us). Stokes County will always hold a special place in our hearts! Many people have asked, “Aren’t you going to miss the views?” and “I bet your next place won’t have those spectacular views.” All I can say to those folks is there is no better view in this world than to see the happiness that exudes from our girls living their best life near family and friends they have missed over the past five years! They have been busy making new memories and we get to enjoy that view everyday❤️.
With that said, I will eventually change the name of this group when I think of one that is fitting. If you have any suggestions, let me know! I’m always up for new ideas. I will obviously continue to take photos of landscapes and God’s beauty!
We are in the process of building another house and you can bet there will be another wonderful porch!
