She may not remember this evening years from now… the sand between her toes, the way her grandparents smiled at her, or how tightly her parents held her hand as they walked the beach.

But one day, she’ll have these photographs.

She’ll see the way they looked at her. She’ll see the love that surrounded her. She’ll see the people who showed up, laughed, hugged a little tighter, and made ordinary moments feel extraordinary.

That is why family photos matter. They become part of your story long after the moment has passed.

Last year I had the honor of photographing his engagement and wedding, and this year he came back for a fun evening with his little boy on the beach.
