The Texas-Oklahoma Searchers are asking for your help - in order to cover our travel expenses to Northern California (in early July) for this historic expedition! We are having to rent a large vehicle and also need to cover fuel for this 4,000 mile journey. Our goal is to find evidence of a famous American cryptid - an unknown species of gigantic salamander, similar in size to the giant Asian species - and described in both local Native traditions, as well as modern reports dating to the 1920s. The team consists of - Ken Gerhard (Cryptozoologist), Jim Whitehead (Wildlife Biologist), Jason Kauntze (Animal Handler), Daniel Alan Jones (Fortean Investigator). We'll be joining forces with Jamie Wayne & The Bluff Creek Project, in coordination with Loren Coleman's International Cryptozoology Museum.
