Some stories stop you in your tracks.
This is one of them. 🤍

I was contacted by , an incredible human from Australia who travels the world helping people in need. That’s how I met David—an 85-year-old veteran from Hamburg, NY.

After multiple life-saving surgeries for himself and his wife, medical bills wiped out their savings. One surgery left David deaf in one ear. When they still couldn’t keep up, they refinanced their home… and eventually lost the house they’d lived in their entire lives.

At 85 years old, David went back to work for minimum wage—doing everything he could to survive.

Samuel started a GoFundMe.
The world showed up.
Over $200,000 was raised.

I volunteered to film the moment David and his family received the check—not for views, not for promotion—but because some moments deserve to be documented with care, dignity, and heart.

This is what kindness looks like.
This is what community looks like.
And this is why storytelling matters.
