This is a message I’ve gone back and forth on for a while, but I wanted to share it with you all personally.

With the pace of our family life growing busier—and my desire to truly slow down the pace of my life (you know, I’ve reached the chicken collecting and bread baking era)—I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from my photography business.

Right now, my heart is being pulled to be fully present for my own family in this season, and I know this is the right decision. Thank you for your support, your kindness, your referrals, and for allowing me to do something I truly loved. It has meant more to me than I can ever put into words.

As a non-breastfeeding mom, these moments absolutely amaze me. The ability of a mother’s body to do exactly what it was made to do — and for a baby to instinctively know what to do — is truly incredible. 🤍

It’s BACK 🐓🦆

One of my very favorite sessions of the year is returning — my Clothesline Motherhood Sessions. Over the next few days I’ll be sharing some beautiful images from years past here on Facebook and over on Instagram so you can see just how special these sessions are.

These sessions are soft, simple, and full of heart. Inspired by the beauty of slow days at home — flowing vintage linens on the clothesline, a classic wash basin, and curious chickens and ducks wandering nearby.

The focus is always the same… the quiet love between a mother and her little ones. Barefoot babies, gentle moments, and memories that feel just like home.

There is just something so incredibly sacred about those first 48 hours. The tiny fingers. The wrinkly toes. The way mama looks at her baby in complete awe. The quiet hospital room. The overwhelming love that fills every corner.

These sessions aren’t about perfection. They’re about real. The fresh tears. The exhaustion mixed with joy. The way your whole world changes in an instant.

Golden light, barefoot littles, wide open fields, and relaxed family moments. Perfect for updated family photos as summer begins.

🍓 Strawberry Bath For Kids - July
