Just a few of my photos from the long-anticipated film, Terrifier 2 that premiered in London at yesterday to rave reviews! Bravo to the visionary director, producer, special effects make-up artist, ! To sing his praises would take several posts. Good thing I have many more photos to share after the October 6th opening!
The first photos I made on the set over two years were of the big-hearted, bad-ass, Lauren Lavera as the film's star, Sienna. I walked onto the set a stranger. Lauren was awaiting her scene, covered in blood, wet and cold. I set up some lights in a dark, dank hallway in the in South Philly. (It was a late February night and was literally colder inside than out. Yes, literally.) Three or four frames in and Lauren killed it. She is focussed, hard-working, generous, kind, and a serious martial artist.
The pandemic slowed down filming. Months later I got to photograph Samantha Scaffidi as whose character from returns in the sequel.
Since the cat is outta the bag, I can share that the six-time WWF/WWE World Champion, Chris Jericho makes an appearance! In 2001, he became the first Undisputed WWF Champion, and has been considered on of the greatest professional wrestlers, ever.
Chris took some time out from filming for some stills and spent a lot of time graciously taking photos with the cast and crew. I didn't really need to ask Chris (That's Mr. Jericho, to me) to look intimidating.
The last character here might have been left on the cutting room floor. But I can truly say it was an honor to have been included.
and props to Phil Falcone, the producer. Holy $4!T this guy never stopped working. I watched him make props, feed the crew, carry stuff, keep the mood light on those very long nights, and encourage the crew to keep going. I also learned some old-school curse words that I'd never heard before 🤣
To the guys at , thanks for letting me get in the way.
And to my friend, the production designer and wardrobe artist who invited in to this frighteningly fun world.
