I’m officially back up for booking!!
I want to first say thank you for being patient with me while I took time off due to health reasons. Also, I want to apologize to anyone I did not get back to during that time off.
Some things have changed. I no longer have a professional website to book through or to see my services (my portfolio website will alwaysys be active). This was a personal choice, as I felt it did not serve a real purpose. Most inquiries, i have found, come through here, instagram, text, and best in my opinion - word of mouth. Thank you to each of you that have stuck with me from the beginning many years ago and on, those that have shared, recommended and booked with me. It means so much to me! Photography is not just a buttoned up profession to me. It is art, a creative outlet, a way to connect with my community and share the beauty I see in people and places.
In saying so, I want to reintroduce what I do offer and tell you some things about my professional photography background.
📸 This is my 6th year doing photography. I started out as a pure amateur and for the first few years, I was self taught. I owe many thanks to many of my photographer friends & mentors that helped me during that time!
📸 I studied for almost 2 years at SNHU for professional photography . Learning digital & film.
📸 I completed 2 short courses online through Rocky Mountain School of Photography based in Missoula, Montana. (Which is sadly now permanently closed but they were amazing.)
📸 My love for photography actually started because of my love of writing. I picked up the camera to have photos for my writings. However, I’ve reflected and realized, I’ve loved pictures my whole life. Ever since I was old enough, I would break out family albums (even at places that were not my family 🤣) because I have a deep deep love for anything that has character, a story, art, life, and a glimpse into someone’s soul.
Since all of this, I have grown exponentially. I ALWAYS will have things to learn, as photography is a never ending learning curve. But what I can promise to my clients is this:
- I will always be honest with you about what I can and can not do. If you request something that is out of my scope, I will refer you to a professional that can give you what you deserve.
- I will always want to get to know you first. Im a firm believer in authenticity. I can only capture the truest you when I know who you are.
- I will always give you an adventure and make it fun & comfortable.
- I will always put my best eye forward and make the experience tailored to YOU. I never want you to feel like you are here for me and a run in the mill. You are the highlight of YOUR photoshoot.
📸 Professional photos are an investment and an experience. I take that seriously. I want your time, effort, and money to be invested into photos you are proud to print, hang, share and look back on.
My style is a mix of digital/film, natural light, moody & candid. Posing IS importing but during those times, I give fun prompts to make It feel more natural.

I no longer will be doing newborn or large weddings. This is a personal preference. (Love me some babies but I feel newborn sessions should be done with someone who specializes in that area.)
