Finally had some time to explore some new areas. If you haven’t noticed I took an extra long break from taking photos. Sometimes I have to do that to get some inspiration back. It had got to a point where I felt like I was only spending time in nature to get “the shot”. I know there may be people who do that but that’s not me. Photography became a by product of my love for the outdoors. When I stopped enjoying the outdoors if I didn’t get “the shot” I knew it was time to put the camera down for a little while. However, It felt awesome picking it back up again and pointing it down this trail.

For the last couple years I have wanted to create a photo album of the people of Merlefest. This year I am doing it. There are many different types of people that make Merlefest great and I want to capture that. These are just the people that catch my eye for no particular reason. Enjoy!
