Life has been a little full and hectic lately, and I wanted to share a quick update 🤍

Right now, we’re walking through another season of fertility / doctor appointments in Raleigh and possibly Winston, while also helping my dad prepare for his upcoming knee replacement surgery and caring for him during recovery.

Because of that, I’m taking on a very limited number of photography sessions this season. That said, feel free to still reach out depending on the week, I may have some availability.

Photography means so much to me, and I truly don’t take for granted the people who trust me to capture their moments. I’m hoping to be back to to it and be able to schedule more later this year once things settle down a bit.

Thank you all for your patience, kindness, and support during this time. It truly means more than I can put into words. 🤍

From genuine smiles to shared laughs, this family reminded me exactly why I love documenting the holidays. It’s never about perfection. It’s about warmth, togetherness, and capturing the joy and fun exactly as it unfolds.

These are the moments. The kind that make you laugh harder every year you look back at them. And honestly? I wouldn’t trade a single goofy pose for the world. ❤️🎅📸

This is the kind of family that doesn’t slow down, they spin, they run, they laugh. They live life fully and loudly, with a love so big it spills into every single moment.

If I had to choose a favorite from this shoot… I couldn’t.
Not one frame. Not one moment. Not one detail.

Because this wasn’t just a bridal session, it was a feeling.
The quiet confidence before the veil went on.
The soft chaos of movement, and light all doing their thing at once.
The way every look told a different version of the same story: powerful, timeless, and effortlessly her.

Every image stands on its own, yet together they feel like a love letter to what bridal can be when it’s allowed to be bold, emotional, and unapologetically beautiful. Picking a favorite would mean missing the magic in the others, and this shoot refused to give me that option.

Extended family sessions:
So much love. So much sound.
Beautifully tangled moments, just as they are.
These sessions are rarely quiet, rarely still, and almost never “perfect.”

There are overlapping conversations, kids drifting in and out of the frame, stories unfolding all at once. And that’s exactly what makes them meaningful.

I don’t come in to smooth things over or manufacture moments. I come to observe, to notice, to hold space for what’s already there.
Because real life is messy, layered, and worth remembering.

There’s something quietly special in the chaos.
And years from now, these are the moments that will feel the most familiar.

Sharing a small glimpse into the incredible day. Every moment, from start to finish, was magic. It’s always an honor to be invited into someone’s world to capture their love story, but this one touched my heart in a special way. Watching someone you’ve known for years marry the love of her life is something so beautiful.

Maria, you were absolutely radiant, and Jim, the way you look at her says it all. I’ve been smiling (and maybe tearing up a little) while editing these, because it truly doesn’t get better than documenting two souls stepping into forever together. Wishing you both a lifetime of laughter, slow mornings, and blessings too many to count. 🥂
