Found this gem going through old, unedited photos today - another shot from one of our trips to Jaipur, India. The dress was custom made locally from materials she picked out. She was having such fun posing and enjoying the sights , not to mention attracting quite the crowd of onlookers from time to time. It was a fun “shoot” @ Jaipur, Rajasthan

So, today was my birthday...never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine I’d be stuck at home under government lockdown with the world seemingly on fire economically and virulently. I am so thankful I have with me as my best friend and partner to share our smallest moments in now what are larger moments thanks to the lockdown. She turned in what would have been just another lockdown day into something special. I am blessed! Today, we explored our creativity a bit. I was originally gonna shoot some self-portraits; however, Ming wanted to help and be a part. I set everything up, gave her the settings to use and taught her how to compose and focus. I am normally not comfortable in front of the lens, but I dare say that Ming made it easier for me and did a fantabulous job! These are the first 3 of 9. The first image is the final product followed by the original and intermediate image.

Finishing up the “Through The Window with Ming” series during our lockdown here in Malaysia. It was good to get our creativity going again! The last photo is out of focus, but Ming was laughing and so much emotion coming through . . . I just clicked off a few frames without knowing what was in focus or not. Glad I did.

Please be well and stay well everyone! @ Tropicana Grande - The Grande View
